Applications – Sodium Hydrosulphite
- Widely used in the textile industry for reducing dyeing, reducing cleaning, printing and decolorizing, and for the bleaching of fabrics such as silk, wool, and nylon. Since it does not contain heavy metals,the fabric after bleaching is very bright and not easy to fade.
- It can also be used for bleaching foods, such as gelatin, sucrose, candied fruit, and bleaching of soaps, animal oils, bamboo utensils, and china clay.
- It can also be applied to organic synthesis, such as dyes, pharmaceuticals as reducing agents or bleaches.
- It is the most suitable bleach for wood pulp.
